To empower Believers through teaching, preaching, and demonstration of the uncompromising Word of God, to fulfill their
highest calling, and to change this world through Jesus Christ.

At Living Word Christian Center, we are a family of believers, knitted together in love and purpose, welcoming anyone who seek a personal experience with the Eternal and Living God.

We come together with those who seek to know God more personally. We acknowledge and honor God for Who He is, prompting us to sing uplifting songs of praise, thanks, and heartfelt worship.

Out of a growing desire to know what God our Father wants for us and what pleases Him, we study the Holy Scriptures, the unchanging Word of God, so that we may love and obey Him. Reaping untold benefits and blessings for our obedience, both in this life and in the life to come.

LWCC serve men, women, and children of all ages, all abilities, and all situations by supporting strong, loving, and holy relationship with our friends, in marriages and families, and within the Church Body.

Pause, reflect, and worship

Attending church each Sunday is a respite from fast-paced daily living. We slow down for A FEW MOMENTS each week to reflect, worship God, strengthen our spiritual connections, and refocus our lives on Jesus Christ. We attend with a community of Saints who are all trying to be more Christlike and learn from each other.

Sacrament meeting

When we take the sacrament each week, we promise to always remember Jesus, try our hardest to live as he did, and keep His commandments. The sacrament includes a special prayer to bless the bread—representing Jesus’s body—which is then offered to the congregation. Then there is a special prayer for the water—representing Jesus’s blood—which is again offered to the congregation. This is the most reverent part of all our meetings, during which the congregation quietly sits and ponders Jesus’s sacrifice.

Sharing your faith

sundays here at lwcc are not your average sunday service. Instead, every member of the congregation and visitors have the liberty to go up to the pulpit and share an encouragement or testimony. As we listen to the experiences of others and feel God’s Spirit fill our hearts, our own convictions and beliefs can be strengthened.

Sunday Classes

Before or after sacrament meeting, there are a variety of other classes for both children and adults. There’s something for everyone from 18 months old and up! We have a women’s group, men’s group, youth group, children’s group, and general Sunday School classes. Each meet together for a lesson and discussion prepared by a member assigned to their group. These lessons are based on a different section of scripture each week. If you would like to attend these additional meetings, ask someone at church, and they’ll be happy to help you find the right classroom..

YOUR LOCAL CHURCH

1 Corinthians 12:13, “by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body.” We see from this passage that the church is like the physical manifestation of Christ, i.e., His body. Jesus is the hope of the world! Being planted and affiliating with your local church is your vehicle of expressing that hope to the world. The change starts with you.
